The Calgary Flames have waived veteran goaltender Jared Coreau, according to General Manager Brad Treliving.
Coreau, 35, was acquired by the Flames on March 3 and was 0-2-0 with a 2.00 goals against average and .904 save percentage in 12 games with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins.
He has recorded a 5-1-1 record in 16 career NHL games.
The 6-foot-4, 208-pound Coreau appeared in eight games with Calgary last season after being acquired from the Los Angeles Kings in a three-team trade on April 12.
He posted a 2-2 record with a 1.83 goals against advantage and .916 save percentage.
