It’s not just the fact that Spyro and the others are in a secret team of assassins.
The story’s plot also details Qustula’s plans to turn the world into a giant electronic hive mind, and it’s a big part of the game’s storyline.
“We wanted to make sure that you’re playing as the protagonist in the story, not just a bystander,” said producer Andrew Blyth.
The team also wanted to avoid repeating the Assassin’s creed theme song, which was also featured in previous Assassin’s stories, but Qustulas decision to include it in Assassin is a huge deal.
It’s not as flashy as the game that’s been out for months, but the music is well crafted and plays on a much higher volume than the rest of the songs.
A huge shout out goes to director Guillermo del Toro, who has also previously worked on the Assassin’s Creed games, as well as a few other big-budget productions, including Ghostbusters 2 and Batman Begins.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
